Albert Lee returns Down Under for his first Australian shows in over a decade.
Eric Clapton labelled him "the greatest guitarist in the world" and now you can head along and check Albert Lee out for yourself when he hits our shores this year.
Lee will perform at the Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney guitar festivals, as well as Gympie Music Muster and headline slots all around the country this August in what will be his first shows in the country in over a decade.
Lee has performed and recorded with the greats, including Keith Richards, Dolly Parton, Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson and Bill Wyman. His live show promises renditions of classic tunes by the likes of Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Ray Charles and Buddy Holly.
"When Saint Peter asks me to chronicle my time down here on earth, I'll be able to say (with pride if that's allowed) that for a while I played rhythm guitar in a band with Albert Lee," Harris said.
