Help them get over the finish line
Seminal musician collaborators and couple Dave Graney and Clare Moore are finally getting an in-depth documentary made about their life and times, but the production house behind the I'm Not Afraid To Be Heavy: A Documentary On The Life & Times Of Dave Graney & Clare Moore documentary need your help.
The comprehensive depiction of Graney and Moore's life in bands like The Moodists, The White Buffaloes, Coral Snakes, The MistLY and The Dave Graney Show throughout the '90s and 2000s has led Melbourne-based filmmaker Nick Cowan to launch a Pozible campaign to help fund the documentary.
The $8,000 they hope to raise will aid the production team in following Graney and Moore on their European tour, interviewing people along the way, as well as interviews with collaborators, archived performances, never-before-seen footage and scripted moments featuring the highs and lows of their careers.
In a few short weeks, the campaign has already raised $6,645 with 21 days to go, so it's looking good for the team so far.

The project started with a script created from Graney’s writings and Moore’s recollections, taking viewers through late '70s punk Australia, grimy post-punk '80s St. Kilda, London and the landscape of '90s Australian showbiz.
