They've got their new 14th album in tow
Manchester alt rockers James have been sitting and laying crowds down for decades now — but never us in Australia. That's all about to change as the band have unveiled their very first Australian tour this November in celebration of their newest — and 14th album — Girl At The End Of The World.
The Laid and Sit Down rockers will see them play the biggest hits from the '80s and '90s but also some newies off their latest. The band's Tim Booth says of the new album, "Bands talk about that difficult second album but it’s the trickster 14th one that’s the real M*&^%R F&%$#R.
"From the outside our process looks like chaos but chaos is our friend and we have a history that gives us confidence that something magical will eventually appear. Most of my best lyrics are unconscious typos so don¹t ask me what it’s about; your projection is as good as mine."
Relive your glory days listening to the American Pie soundtrack at Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle, starting 12 November.
