100 Warm Tunas Drops Prediction For 2023 Triple J Hottest 100

While we’re still three weeks away from the triple j Hottest 100 of 2023, 100 Warm Tunas, the website that tracks “the internet’s most accurate” predictions of the upcoming countdown, has shared a sneak peek at the possible top 50.

Updated daily and growing more accurate as more listeners upload or send their votes for the Hottest 100 to @100warmtunas on Instagram, the predicted top 50 is stacked with Aussie talent. There’s longtime favourites Lime Cordiale, G Flip, King Stingray, Genesis Owusu, Angie McMahon and Spacey Jane, and the acts who took over 2023: Dom Dolla, Royel Otis, Budjerah, Teenage Dads, and more.

International acts such as 100 gecs, BENEE, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, PinkPantheress and Ice Spice, Jack Harlow, Caroline Polachek and more are also expected to make the countdown that celebrates the most popular tunes of 2023.

The current 100 Warm Tunas predicted #1 is Not Strong Enough by American indie rock supergroup boygenius (Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus).

The band’s star rose exponentially in 2023 with Grammy nominations, music videos directed by Kristen Stewart, and top 10 debuts for their album The Record in Australia, the US, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, the Netherlands and the UK.

At #2 is Rush by Troye Sivan, followed by Rumble by Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan, Leaving The Light by Genesis Owusu, Angie McMahon’s Letting Go, Rhyme Dust by MK and Dom Dolla, Jungle’s Back On 74, Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For?, I Used To Be Fun by Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, and Worst Person Alive by G Flip.

On Saturday, 27 January, from noon AEDT, triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2023 will air, with the party continuing on Sunday, 28 January, from 10 am AEDT, in which the national youth broadcaster airs the songs that just missed out, counting down from 200 to 101.

The following weekend (Saturday, 3 February), return to Double J from 10 am AEDT to relive the Hottest 100 of 2003. That’s right – the hits from Jet, Outkast, Missy Higgins, Missy Elliott, and many more.

Triple j’s Hottest 100 chart-topper of 2022 was Flume featuring MAY-A with Say Nothing. Gang Of Youths were predicted to win with in the wake of your leave, but the track landed at #9.
