This year's nominees for the 2025 AAM Awards' Manager Of The Year category share their opinions on hard-hitting issues facing the Aussie music industry.

To celebrate the launch of this year’s 23% Mentorship Program, The Music caught up with Body Type's Sophie McComish and Nat Dunn to discuss its impact on their lives and artistry.

Dicko is back with his music business consultancy and coaching project, 'Hey Dicko!', designed to help musicians navigate the industry.

The AWMAs have kickstarted a #NominateThem campaign - entries are open until Friday, 30 May.

“This increased investment means there will be more chances for both emerging and established artists to get on stage,” said APRA AMCOS CEO Dean Ormston.

“It’s clear that the government needs to step in to help the industry."

“[The festival circuit] is too important to lose,” said Minister for Music and Night-time Economy John Graham.

“Venues and festivals are under huge pressure at the moment."
