SXSW Sydney returns for its second year this October, and it’s locked in a massive 60+ acts to perform at the event.
Some names, you’ll recognise: Aussies like The Grogans, Ixaras, The Buoys, Juice Webster, RINSE, artist and Heartbreak High star Ayesha Madon, smolfish, Joan & The Giants, Full Flower Moon Band, The Moving Stills, and COLDWAVE have been making waves in recent times, but there’s plenty more to discover on the SXSW Sydney 2024 line-up.
There’s the first Indonesian group to ever play at Glastonbury, metal trio Voice Of Baceprot, South Korea’s Off The Menu, and up-and-coming Aussie acts J-MILLA & Yung Milla, Dem Mob, HighSchool, and stacks more – you can check out the full artist announcement below.
Continuing from last year’s development opportunities and networking chances, which saw emerging Aussie artists like Dust, Miss Kaninna, Inkabee, Radio Free Alice, and more perform, SXSW Sydney will see this year’s artists perform across 25 stages in the Chippendale precinct.
In addition to today’s music announcement, SXSW Sydney has locked in conference speakers, workshops, screenings, games, and experiences for this year’s program. You can find out more about the 2024 schedule here.
Earlier this year, SXSW Sydney Chair and TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones said about the 2024 event, “After the success of the inaugural SXSW Sydney in 2023, we are once again inspired by the overwhelming response from the creator communities to participate in the 2024 program.
