Spotify and Australian artists Peach PRC, G-Flip, Ruel, Ūla and Cat & Calmell have teamed up to make every local teenager’s dream come true, with Spotify hits different Summer Camp hitting (different) in Sydney next month.
Inspired by the streaming giant’s hits different playlist, which stars the likes of Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, Maisie Peters, d4vd, Zach Bryan, Mia Wray and many more, Spotify will bring live music performances, workshops and exclusive merchandise to the 90s-American campfire influenced event.
On Saturday, 10 and Sunday, 11 February, fans can head to Sydney and join in designing personalised pairs of drumsticks with G Flip, decorating fairy wings with Peach PRC, playing Ping Pong with Ruel, participating in a scrapbook session with Cat & Calmell, and get involved in DIY Couture with Ūla.
Ruel and Ūla will also host exclusive live performances “by the campfire”. In addition to the already exciting news of the event, Spotify hits different tickets are also free. Tickets for Day One and Day Two are now available.
Spots to attend sessions are limited, so if you don’t manage to secure a ticket for the session you want to participate in, organisers urge fans to sign up for the ticket waitlist and enjoy the free general public area. You can find more details about the event below.
Spotify hits different Summer Camp follows a massive event for G Flip, who recently expressed an emotional reaction to discovering that Taylor Swift liked their Cruel Summer cover on Instagram.

“Im trying not to cry,” they said. “It’s really cool, and I love your art, and thank you so much, everyone, for getting around this cover.”
In a separate video, the Be Your Man singer and drummer revealed that they were awaiting backlash for covering one of Taylor Swift’s biggest songs and was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reactions.
“I really thought that it was going to get a lot of hate because it's such a big song,” G Flip explained. “And, like, when you take on a big song, you don't want to destroy it or ruin it.”
