Hailing from Tamaki Makaurau—aka Auckland, New Zealand—The Beths will play two special, intimate shows at Melbourne/Naarm's Corner Hotel and Sydney/Eora’s Crowbar this March. The Beths have had a formidable two years following the release of their widely acclaimed third album, 2022’s Expert In A Dying Field, playing 200 shows across North America, the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The Beths’ exuberant live shows move deftly from blistering power-pop and punk to heartstring-tugging balladry and Antipodean jangle-rock. Lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter Elizabeth Stokes’ distinctly Kiwi drawl is front and centre, uttering one clever witticism and insightful observation after the next.
