To celebrate his most popular albums Goodbye Tiger, Prussian Blue and The Great Escape, Ralph, as he's known to his friends, and his band of renown, will be playing songs from these three albums plus all his greatest hits Australian musicologist, Ian McFarlane, described Richard's 1977 album Goodbye Tiger as Clapton's, "most celebrated work, an album full of rich, melodic and accessible rock with a distinctly Australian flavour. It established Clapton's reputation as one of the most important Australian songwriters." And important he is! With songs like Girls on the Avenue, I Am an Island, Capricorn Dancer, High Society, Blue Bay Blues, Glory Road and, not forgetting Deep Water, he really is responsible for some of The Best Years of our Lives.
