Excessivism is an emerging indie pop rock band from the darkest, mouldiest corners and grunge drenched veins of student radio. It’s a joint project of enthusiastic and seasoned musicians interested in sharing their passion for songwriting and performance through a collaborative avenue. The name is a term coined by one of the band’s two lead vocalists, Noah, and is referential to both consumerism and being ‘excessively’ dramatic.
With influences in the flavour of Third Eye Blind, Oasis, and Fleetwod Mac to name a few, Excessivism encompasses the creative and emotional nature of both Imy and Noah; an energy that is communicated in an effervescent concoction of heavier, gravelly rock tones and sparkly, soaring brightness. Excessivism are excited to bring on board Keira Juliet, Elkie Kershaw and NO? to help launch their project into the stratosphere.
