“An absolute gem of a song [‘Angela’] by Australia’s best new buzz band.” GIGSLUTZ (This Feeling Track Of The Day 2024)
“A big Brit rock feel from the heart of Brisbane!” TRIPLE J UNEARTHED, DAVE RUBY HOWE (‘Don’t Mind Anyway’)
“Feel very comfortable with the early Blur coming through on this.” TRIPLE J UNEARTHED, STACY GOUGOULIS (‘Don’t Mind Anyway’)
“Tuesday hit the ground running with hard-hitting sets from Brisbane acts Dopamine and VOIID. The former get their hooks in early and often, matching this accessibility with plenty of rougher edges.” MUSIC FEEDS (Best of Rock at BIGSOUND 2022)
"This song [‘Strange Situation’] checks off every single ingredient in the recipe for a classic indie rock bop." THIS SONG IS SICK
Rich Uncle
Rich Uncle is a guitar-driven alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia. Their sound blends heavy riffs with shoegaze undertones. Based in Queensland, Rich Uncle's debut album 'Eucalyptus' echoes the stark contrasts of the Australian bush - harsh yet ethereal.
Soma’s Secret
Soma's Secret are a brand new project based in Brisbane/Meanjin comprised of Sofia Giacoboni (vocals/guitar) and Liam Kenvyn (Bass Guitar), writing and performing atmospheric and stripped back compositions that draw from the duo's wide pool of sonic inspirations.
Their songs combine the gritty and the dark with the soft and ethereal, playing to the strengths of the guitar/bass/vocals arrangements and creating songs with a vulnerable and emotive core. Despite the absence of a drumkit - Soma's Secret's music is made to move their audience.
The secret? It's not a Secret after all, it's transparent and ever clear, listen and you'll find out.
