ATHANASIA is a fiercely independent artist from Sydney, blending neo-soul, disco, and pop into a lush, timeless sound. Known for her candid lyrics and raw, diary-like storytelling, she invites listeners into her world with influences ranging from Amy Winehouse to Olivia Dean.

Her accolades underscore her rising star in the music industry. As the Australian winner of the global Martin Garrix x JBL competition (2023), ATHANASIA was flown to Amsterdam to collaborate with Martin Garrix and other international artists. She has also been featured in the new JBL YouTube series “JBL Be Heard”, a five-part exploration of her writing style that garnered over 1 million views in total. Co-writing a song with an award-winning producer Audius Mtawarira, she amassed over 30,000 streams and 200,000 views on its YouTube music video.

ATHANASIA has graced iconic stages, including the MainStage at Big Sound 2024 and Rolling Stone House x SXSW. Her music has been showcased on leading Australian stations like Triple J and FBI Radio, and her artistry was spotlighted in Rolling Stone’s 2023 limited-edition publication and online.
