VIDEO PREMIERE: Riley Pearce - 'Elephants'

Singer-songwriter Riley Pearce is sending out a message in a bottle today in the form of a touching video for his song Elephants, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.

The clip is a stunning composition of live actions and sketch animation that expresses the message of communication and longing in the song.

"Elephants was written about my brother and I’s relationship," Pearce said.

"He lives on the other side of the world and we always have been close so extra effort is needed now with the time difference to keep in touch. He used to collect elephants when he was a kid (little toy ones).

"It got me thinking that if someone was to actually collect elephants how hard it would be but if it meant a lot to them, much like with relationships, you do what you can to make it work."

The singer is currently in the middle of an extensive tour of the UK and Europe that will see him gigging all over until August.
