"I hate running normally but it was all worth it for this!"
Newcastle singer-songwriter Rachel Maria Cox spent a lot of time workshopping the concept for their latest music video and it definitely shows in the powerful final product.
Time explores radical acceptance and celebrating and loving your body the way it is, with its accompanying music video capturing that perfectly.
“I wanted the video for Time to represent getting out of your own head and feeling free and discovering new places, and about coming to a place of comfort and acceptance at the end,” Maria Cox told The Music.
“I worked with an old friend of mine from high school, and we basically went all around to some of my favourite places in Newcastle to shoot the clip. I hope it takes people on a bit of a journey and invites them into my life and my world in the same way that the song does.”
The indie pop/rock artist will play two launch show weekend, one hometown headline date and a set at Not Fest in Melbourne; all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
