The Melbourne band are currently supporting new album 'Channel Four'.
Melbourne outfit Crepes are currently in the throes of supporting their recently released album, Channel Four, with a quick tour on the horizon complemented by the release of their sweet little video for their catchy new tune Mild Conversation.
Shot on location at Melbourne arcade Fun Galore, the video taps into warm nostalgia for the glory days of such venerable institutions, featuring a happy-go-lucky employee who dances his way through the day and a cast of local crust-punk diehards out for some good times.
It's a pure and feelgood throwback complemented by the group's endearing, accessible and jangly indie tones, and purveys a sense of joy that clearly was felt by the cast and crew in making the clip.
"As you can maybe tell from the video, the place hasn't changed at all since the '90s," the band said of their one-day shoot at Fun Galore. "We had a great time hanging with the local crust punks who hang in the area and enjoyed the various rides and amusements there.

"A huge shout-out to the lead actor, Dave, and his wife, Sarah, and kids, who travelled from Sale for the clip; I think they had as much fun as we did."
Crepes kick off their Channel Four album tour at home, with a show at the Northcote Social Club this Friday, 10 November. They'll head on to shows in Ballarat (The Eastern, 11 November) and Sydney (Waywards, 7 December) to round out the run.
