"When I created this choir arrangement of the song I wanted to make it equal parts beautiful and eerie."
Asha Jefferies has reimagined her track, 'Crybaby' in a new, live, choir arranged format, premiering today via The Music.
The original track is taken from her 'The Pinnacle EP', and was written with friend and producer Aidan Hogg after a period of writers block.
The Pinnacle EP explored a new era for Asha, establishing a new nuanced sound, one driven by deeply reflective lyrics.
"I've always had this vision that in a past life, I died peacefully underneath a tree," stated Jefferies and reflected in the video.
"Crybaby is about letting go of the old life (the old habits, thoughts, beliefs) that have expired, so when I created this choir arrangement of the song I wanted to make it equal parts beautiful and eerie."
