Highlight Of The Decade

The emergence of women in comedy has been wonderful to watch. It is a truly fantastic time to go and see amazing women in Australian comedy. Becky Lucas recently smashed her set on Conan and femmes are crushing it at gigs all over the country. Here’s a (by no means exhaustive) list of some of my friends who are doing awesome stuff in comedy and who’ve really made me laugh in recent years: Bec Charlwood, Fiona Cox, Lauren Bonner, Bea Barbeau-Scurla, Concetta Caristo, Steph Broadbridge, Jacqueline Mifsud, Elouise Eftos, Cait Johnson, Eve Ellenbogen, Alex Jae, Jacinta Gregory, Cassie Workman, Zoe Coombs Marr, Erin Michelle, Grace Jarvis, and, for good measure, one man, Ben Kochan.
