As usual, nudity, sexuality and religious taboos fuelled the free publicity generated around these iconic pieces of album artwork since 2000.

It speaks volumes on society’s true values when it comes to what is considered really offensive. One would think that death and violence would top that list, but with children being raised on that from a young age, that’s clearly not the case.

Instead, what truly offends pearl clutchers usually boils down to a few things, the most common of which is nudity, particularly in regards to sexuality. The other hot button topic? Religion of course.
