'A high-octane, low-fi gem.'
Brisbane punk-rock quartet/corporate chemical test gone wrong The Gametes are releasing their new single The Man of Thumbs today, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
A high-octane, low-fi gem; the new tune is just under two minutes of fuzzy guitar riffs and sharp percussion that packs as much energy into its short time as possible.
The song is the second single fans have scored from the band's upcoming debut album The Astronomical Calamities of Comet Jones, which is slated for release via Coolin' By Sound this August.
To celebrate the release of the track, the gang has announced a trio of shows at Brisso's The Foundry this month, including an exclusive premiere of The Gametes Movie with live original score played by the outfit.
