SINGLE PREMIERE: Flowertruck - 'Come Across'

Get ready to hear your soundtrack for the next week because Sydney’s Flowertruck have just dropped their brand new single and it is an absolute corker.

Come Across oozes with sincere Australiana vibes thanks to singer Charles Rushforth’s distinct vocal twang and the little heard but much-appreciated group chant breakdown.

Swathed in understated percussion and one of the finest keyboard hooks of the past year, each part of the song combines perfectly to create something that sounds incredibly nostalgic, yet completely fresh and new.

The track is the second single from the band’s upcoming debut album Mostly Sunny, which is due to drop 16 March.

As guitarist Hamish Dobson explains, the album marks an evolution for the band in sound and in attitude.

“Our EP was our adolescence not only as a band but also as musicians. The LP is a marker of our development together as a band and in our musicianship from so much bloody touring."
