“It was both exhilarating and relieving at the same time."
The debut single from emerging Brisbane alt-pop duo Alta Falls “tells the story of someone plucking up the courage to challenge their preconceptions and try something new for the first time”.
The result of that courage is “a completely new perspective, and thriving on the freedom that comes with that”.
It's no coincidence that Take Me On Down was also the first song the duo ever recorded as Alta Falls.
“Within only the first day at the studio, our amazing producer Aidan Hogg (Jaguar Jonze, Holy Holy) had brought to life the beginnings of the vision we had been conjuring up in our heads for months during the writing process,” the band told The Music.
“It was both exhilarating and relieving at the same time - to know that what we'd been working on in the band room was going to translate to the sound we had imagined, only better.”
Listen to Take Me On Down above ahead of its official release tomorrow.
