Wolfman runs the store, he howls at each full moon but most of the time he moans about how many times he needs to stock a Fleetwood Mac Rumours album
When and why did the store open?
My Kombi broke down in Byron in March 2017 and it was cheaper to buy the existing (failing) record store than fix it and keep on the Journey.
What do your customers most know you for?
We have launched hundreds of emerging local bands by hosting regular all ages live music instore events
What is the most popular title you stock at the moment?
Media Puzzle - Strategic Living. If you don't know your are definitely missing out
What is the most popular evergreen title?
It should be AC/DC's Powerage... but it ain't.
What is the best thing about running a record store in 2025?
Listening to second hand records all day and regularly being impressed by an overlooked title or finding a nugget in between all the Neil Diamond albums
What is the hardest thing about running a record store in 2025?
Listening to said Neil Diamond albums. Also going home and not feeling like listening to the personal collection as it feels like work.
