Indie-pop legends The Cannanes have more than earned their stripes in the Aussie music echelons and The Music is proud to announce that they are premiering the video to their new track Grotto Capri right here.
Described as "the world's most indie band", the Sydney-bred outfit have never had a manager, agent or record deal, but that hasn't stopped them touring the globe and putting out a multitude of releases across an impressive 32-year career. Heck, even Kurt Cobain mentioned them as a band he liked in his journal.
The song, released last year on US compilation Nail House Party, is proof the band have lost none of their sheen. The video was directed and produced by Megan Spencer and shot in Berlin at the end of their latest overseas tour, which took in the US and Germany, as well as Australia.
Along with receiving plenty of triple j airplay at home, the band has also been the subject of documentary Short Poppy Syndrome in 2008. Also that year, Converse released a limited-edition Cannanes Chuck Taylor All Star Gym Boot.
