Following its release last month — Fraser A Gorman's first new material in three years — the music video for Walking To Oman's is here, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au today.
Directed by Sunny Leunig (Paul Kelly, Courtney Barnett) and Geoffrey O'Connor (Donny Benet, Gold Class) and shot in Melbourne's Masonic Hall, the clip shows Gorman and his band performing at a Wednesday night team building session which includes games of trust, tug of war, group singalongs and group therapy.
The video is described as "a group of unlikely people, bound by their vulnerability, gathered together to support each other with an array of team building exercises.
"Every advance of humankind arises from the suffering of the soul. Musicians know this only too well. That's why some of us need support groups. We get lost, we go off-track, we are fallible - We are human (and we need to be loved)."
To coincide with the video's release, Gorman has announced his second album, Easy Dazy, will drop on 13 July via Caroline Music Australia with tour dates to follow.
