Melbourne artist Francesca Gonzales recently unfurled her latest impeccable blend of soulful electronica with new single, Baby Give It Up, and we're excited to jump on board today and premiere its accompanying video clip. But don't let the single's silky smooth groove totally fool you - the track deals with some confronting issues at Gonzales works through an uncomfortable encounter with a male festival-goer: "I started talking to my friends about it and soon realised that everyone had gone through similar situations. I wanted to write this song as a message to people who don’t take no for an answer. If someone asks you to stop, then stop."
The single follows on from last year's Better Person, and comes with a single launch on at the Evelyn Hotel on May 18, where she'll also be celebrating the release of her forthcoming EP. Take a listen below:
