Aussie icon Missy Higgins celebrated 20 years of her debut album with a night to remember at the historic St Kilda venue.
I guess it seems obvious that the older one gets, the more “there’s no way that’s XYZ years old!” moments happen, but damn if it isn’t still a headtrip every time… including the realisation that The Sound of White, the phenomenal debut album from beloved Aussie singer-songwriter Missy Higgins, turns 20 years old this year - oh, and she was only 21 when it came out, no small feat considering it’s one of the best Australian albums of all time.
What better way to celebrate two decades of the album than with some career-spanning, intimate live shows, including one at St Kilda’s fabled Palais Theatre. With no support act on the night and Missy asking fans on social media for song suggestions, this was a night to remember - made all the more memorable when the one and only Angie McMahon joined Missy on stage and Pilerats was on hand to snap the action!
