Phoenix just teased an Australian tour and yep, we're 100% down

There's no lie that French indie-pop four-piece Phoenix are one of the best at their game. I mean, they were the makers of this absolute banger back in 2009 which has 100% stood the test of time:

Well, in case you missed the news, the group dropped their new album Ti Amo back in June and they're currently touring the record across the UK and Europe we speak in what have been called some pretty spectacular shows. They also haven't toured in Australia since they did Future Music Festival (RIP) and a few all-ages shows back in early 2014, so when we say that they're overdue for some shows down under, we really, really mean it. After being hotly-rumoured for this year's Splendour (who unfortunately, couldn't bag 'em), the group just announced a couple more European shows for March 2018 aaaaaaaand teased a couple of Australian dates on Twitter. Evidence below:

So yeah, colour us keen because this is going to be one of the most highly-awaited tours to hit Australia when it comes down here and alongside Justice's constant teasing of an Australian tour, it's probably the closest we're going to get to some Daft Punk shows within the next few years (the band's guitarist, Laurent Brancowitz, was in a band with the Daft Punk dudes before they were known as Daft Punk, and they also played together once at Madison Square Gardens - just peep the scream-filled, fan-filmed video below for that).
