Four years on from their AMP Award-longlisted debut album, Chipper, Brisbane's Tape/Off are back with their follow-up record, Broadcast Park.
The album gets its name from "the area housing the tower for local community radio station 4ZZZ atop Mount-Cootha in Brisbane's inner-west," and sets out to question "existentialism, the male psyche, societal conventions and restrictions, familial bonds and the myth of life on the road" while bringing in some quintessentially Brisbane sounds.
The Music caught up with drummer Branko Cosic ahead of the album's release to talk about hating what you create, influences and why the band is angry about the world. Read it here.
Tape/Off are heading around the country in celebration of Broadcast Park, kicking off tomorrow night in WA. Head to theGuide for more info.
