Melbourne’s Planète takes flight on the astronomical journey, Guided By Flux

Ever since Dion Tartaglione (Planète) started releasing his music online over two years ago he’s taken the utmost care to ensure it’s electric magic. With less than 10 singles to his name and an 8-month breather since releasing new music, it’s clear that Planète thinks long and hard about what the public should hear. Guided By Flux is a track I’m glad he thought should be shared. In characteristic style, Tartaglione has crafted a pulsating dance piece to take you somewhere other than here. Made up of sharp drum rolls, towering synth lines and a judicious selection of keys this one’s spells rapture. In producing the track, Dion made sure to balance moments of adrenaline with sections of composure as he mentions - "I very much wanted this to drive and be energetic but also have room to think slowly."

The release is timed to perfection with Dion set for one hell of a July! A slot at Splendour In The Grass, supporting Romare in Melbourne and Sydney, and multiple support dates for none other than Bonobo. Planète is a proud member of the Good Manners label based out of Melbourne, an eclectic family looking after the likes of LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Marcus Whale, Kllo and Banoffee AKA some of this country's most forward-thinking young artists.
