Listen: Mac DeMarco - No Other Heart

It’s hard to get a read on Canadian slack-rocker, Mac DeMarco. Check out the videos that narrate his life, and he seems to spend his time dicking around on keyboards, taking mud baths in the Middle East and impersonating New Yorkians. But he is also working hard, converting his faffing around into some solid songwriting. After notching a massive world tour on the back of his 2014 LP Salad Days, he is now giving us a peep at his upcoming fourth studio album, Another One, due August 7 on Spunk. No Other Heart is the next single we’ve got from it, which bodes as Mac’s take on a love song, complemented by summery guitar licks that have us trying to will the winter months away. His other two singles Another One and The Way You’d Love Her reel in a similar vibe.
