West Aussie indie rock faves keep the summer vibes going on rollicking new anthem.
The rain and clouds may finally be here, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be summer in your headphones all year round, as demonstrated by Great Gable's upper tempo new indie rock jaunt, Think Again Motherf*cker.
Opening with energetic drums that set the scene, warbly guitars and an urgent bass line soon enter the mix before lead singer Alex Whiteman’s vocals hit, reflecting on how oftentimes we need to think about a situation again.
"Even before writing the lyrics, I’d already named the track ‘Think Again, Motherfucker’. I stumbled across an old demo that wasn’t anything special but the beat was killer. So I said to myself, 'think again motherfucker.'" says Whiteman of the track.

Think Again Motherf*cker follows up their 2023 EP Read The Room (that we caught up with the band about here) and is there second release for the year after February single Best Friend. In super exciting times for the band, across May and June they’ll be heading off on a massive 15 date UK/EU tour, alongside Death By Denim, Ryan Edmond and Matija.
The single also comes alongside a charming visualiser, capturing the four-piece on the road around South West W.A., complete with dirt roads, gorgeous beaches and local delis:
