After a successful stint in radio, Australia's beloved 'Crown Prince of Comedy' Joel Creasey is set to reclaim the stage with his 2024 Australian tour, aptly named Boom!
It’s bound to be exciting news for fans of the comedian, with Joel’s live show famous for being a barrel of no-holds-barred belly laughs. He’s cemented a reputation for slicing, dicing and smashing through celebrity and pop culture, and himself, with unflinching candour and savage truths.
Speaking of his excitement for the upcoming tour, Creasey said in a statement: “Boom! Australia, I’m back with my brand new stand-up show all around the country.”
“It’s my most punchy and personal show to date and I just know you’ll have a great time. Bring your friends, family… just maybe not your kids!”
Creasey has enjoyed quite the ride so far. After making waves as a comedian, he rocked the airwaves as the co-host of Nova’s top drive show.
He even bagged the Best Newcomer award at the 2021 ACRA Awards, and his show scooped up a couple more wins.

His stand-up specials, like Queen of the Outback and Thirsty, have fans and critics raving. And let’s not forget his TV gigs, from dishing out laughs on The Project to leading the glitz and glamour of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade.
Starting stand-up at 15, Creasey has been slaying audiences with his outrageous wit and hilarious stories. He's toured all over the world – Australia, the UK, Asia, USA – and even got a nod as Best Newcomer back in his early days. Joan Rivers herself was wowed by him, calling him a “fucking star!”
So, as Joel gears up for Boom!, it's clear we're all in for a real treat, with his blend of bold humour and infectious charm being just what we all need right now — so get ready for a night of non-stop laughs with Australia’s comedy royalty.
