When did you start making music and why? I recall making songs up in my head when I was very small, but I started playing guitar at 14 — something about the sound grabbed me.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? The Beatles' White Album. It's so packed with stuff you could spend a lifetime getting to the bottom of it.
Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Hearing that John Mayall (blues legend) covered one of my songs.
Why should people come and see your band? They'll hear something that's never been heard before and won't be heard again — we're a very improvisatory band.
