Almost 14 years ago to the day, US punk-rock outfit Jimmy Eat World released their breakout album Bleed American and in celebration, Aussie band Dan Cribb & The Isolated (the main man of which works for theMusic.com.au) have teamed up with a number of acts to pay tribute to the Arizona-founded group.
The album, curated by the Perth band, sees a number of popular US and Aussie group's such as Wander, Long Knives, Burn The City and You Vandal take on some of Jimmy Eat World's biggest hits from the record, including The Middle, Sweetness and more.
Not only is the tribute album an awesome homage to Jimmy Eat World, but funds raised from the work aim to raise funds and awareness to the ongoing struggles in Nepal following the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes earlier this year.
While the situation may have taken a back seat in people's minds, the wild winter weather will see more pressure on the areas already affected by the earthquakes and thus, their support is needed.
