The national run comes fresh off a festival-filled new year period, with the group playing Falls Festival and Grapevine Gathering in the months just gone..

One of the greatest pleasures over the year just gone come from watching once-local bands explode into internationally-trotting touring forces, whether it be musicians like Stella Donnelly and Tame Impala (obviously) putting Perth's indie/rock scene on the global map, or acts like Crooked Colours - once Perth-based, now mostly on the east coast - who since emerging with their earliest work back in 2014, have evolved into multi-album juggernauts showcasing local electronica on an international scale.
It's not hard to work out why, either. Since their career-starting Come Down, the trio have proved consistent in crafty indie-electronica capable of moving between sweeping tech-adjacent epics (Perfect Run, from their debut) to tracks that mirror the handiwork of their guest collaborators, from Ivan Ooze in the hip-hop world to Ladyhawke in the pop sphere. Then, there's - of course - their distinct electronic sound, lush with the soundscapes and intricacy you'd find among the country's most notorious - acts they're now standing alongside.
Their live show is an entirely different force, and it's one that like some of their comparatives in RÜFÜS DU SOL and Mansionair, have defined the band and their ability to produce something different to the notoriously beefy Australian electronic scene. As a result, they've played festivals galore - Falls Festival and Grapevine Gathering in the past few months, for starters - and their live shows often sell out months before arrival.

Today, they're kicking off their new decade by announcing a stacked national tour, one that'll see the group beef up their live show into an entirely new force as they usher in an exciting new era for the group. It'll be their last tour run before they quieten down to write their third album in the latter half of the year, with Crooked Colours stacking their live show with a hefty production budget and some absolutely brilliant support acts - Set Mo in live mode, and one-to-watch George Alice - to ensure their final send-off is one their expertly-crafted sophomore effort deserves.
"We will be taking a large part of this year off to knuckle down and start working on our third album but before we do that we wanted to play one last time to our fans at home," the group say, teasing the tour which you can find all the deets too below. "In April and May this year, we will be playing our biggest shows yet with a massive production budget and an extended set length to run through all our music old and new."
