Short description of your band and your music: Sydonia is a band that exemplifies the word 'diverse'. The best of pop sensibilities is tempered at times with brutal angst.

What are you hoping to achieve from showcasing at BIGSOUND? We are really wanting to connect with our overseas brothers and sisters ­ we have been to the US before, but we are keen to get back in 2015 and connect with the fans we made on the Stone Sour tour we did there and to break in to Europe if we can, we are aching to check out those amazing summer rock and metal festivals!

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? As heavy as we are, we are also a fun/funny band. If you like your riffs heavy and percussion tribal, then we will be the spectacle to check out at that end of the valley, but if you like all of that plus irreverent humour from Sam, our guitarist, in between songs, then we are going to be the highlight of your time at BIGSOUND.
