'The Underdoggs' released its first trailer for the hilarious new Prime Video comedy which stars Snoop Dogg as a former NFL player.

Guess who's trading the mic for a whistle? Yep, Snoop Doggy Dogg is taking a wild leap into the world of coaching in the hilarious new Prime Video comedy, The Underdoggs.
The trailer just dropped, and by the look of it, the comedy is going to be the perfect easy comedy watch for a lazy Sunday arvo.
The Underdoggs sees Snoop play the role of Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings, a retired NFL player who finds himself on the wrong side of a bus crash and ends up serving community service back in his hometown. But instead of just doing his time, he decides to coach a bunch of kids trying to make a football team.
The trailer kicks off with Snoop philosophising about the perils of being a superstar.
“America loves motherfuckin’ greatness,” the Gin And Juice rapper says in the trailer. “But once you reach the mountaintop of greatness, everybody wants to see you fall.”
Snoop, along with a crew that includes Tika Sumpter, George Lopez, and Mike Epps, takes on the challenge of turning a group the underdog kids into a legit football squad.

The Underdoggs is also set to feature cameos from NFL players like Juju Smith-Schuster, Ronnie Hillman, John Ross, and De'Anthony Thomas.
And, of course, Snoop Dogg isn't just the star; he's also pulling strings as the producer. From Training Day to Scary Movie 5 and even Pitch Perfect 2, Snoop's been flexing those acting muscles, having been involved in everything from Dolemite Is My Name to "The Addams Family and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.
