Watch: Jamie xx - Loud Places feat. Romy
Hype levels are reaching fever pitch in the lead-up to Jamie xx's album.. After just dropping his new single Loud Places, featuring xx band-mate Romy Croft as well as Gosh on Friday, English producer Jamie xx has today followed up with the release of a video clip for Loud Places.  The video tracks the pair as they skate through the dimly-lit streets of London. It's a rather simple and calming video pairing with the relaxed beats. Before long, a heap of confetti drops as we near the end of the tune. Gosh is also now available to stream via YouTube, to tide everyone over as they feverishly anticipate the rest of what new album In Colour has in store. In Colour will also include the previously released Girl and Sleep Sound. Follow Jamie xx: FACEBOOK / YOUNG TURKS SOUNDCLOUD

Premiere: Jamie xx - Far Nearer (Young Franco Bootleg)
Young Franco throws a hefty 4x4 behind Jamie xx's Far Nearer.. One of Pilerats' perennial fave DJ/producers and much-loved human beings in general, Young Franco is looking to back up a great 2014 with what we're expecting to be an even bigger 2015, and he's kicking things off nicely with this tidy little bootleg of Jamie xx's seminal tune, Far Nearer. He hasn't fucked with the original too much, keeping the euphoric feel of the track but toughening it up with a slamming kick and some Franco-esque basslines. It's available for free download via his FACEBOOK page, and you can give it a cheeky stream below: Follow Young Franco: FACEBOOK

New Music - John Talabot, Four Tet, Koreless & Jamie xx - Continuum Soundtrack
What a lineup.. If you were impressed by the music video for Jamie xx’s Sleep Sound released earlier this year, you will want to check out the incredible work of London-based artists Sofia Mattioli and Rebecca Salvadori. These two creative minds have been long time collaborators, and their latest production is an eight-minute video, reportedly created using iPhones, called Continuum. The clips were sent to four of the world's most exciting and forward-thinking producers; John Talabot, Four Tet, Jamie xx and Koreless, who were asked to write music accompanying the clips. Mattioli told the producers: “What I want everyone to do is go into their own space in their own head, and imagine the piece of music they would put with it.” The stunning results can be watched online at HERE, and the producers individual efforts can be streamed/downloaded below:
