A stripped back run of dates for the hip hop duo

The good dudes of One Day drop a silky smooth new jam.. A few weeks ago we professed our love for Aussie hip hop crew One Day, featuring members of Horrorshow, Joyride, Spit Syndicate and Jackie Onassis, and they've just released a typically smooth new single in Leave Your Windows Open. The guys spent all of September playing a heap of big shows around the country, backing them up with chill Sunday arvo gigs and preaching the good word of Aussie hip hop to fans hungry for smooth beats and flow from some of this country's nicest dudes. Leave Your Windows Open would also go down smooth on a Sunday, or any day of the week really. Perfectly crafted song selections and the fierce energy of young kids turning up with their parents and diving into the mosh gave this show the edge and nudged Horrorshow a step closer to world domination.

"I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and reading about Australia’s history in the last couple of years – way more than I ever did as a teenager because I was too preoccupied by my own ups and downs and shit.”

"One thing that I have to take from the process of making this album, and if I want to better myself as a writer and as an artist, I need to up my productivity. I need to learn how to not take four years to write a song."

Horrorshow’s sound is more consistent than most. That means highlights here will come down to personal taste.
