Returning in 2019, Bello Winter Music’s Mentorship Program pairs up young emerging performers with established artists on the festival line-up for some one-on-one time rehearsing, performing and just talking. This year the mentors helping to encourage the aspiring talent are Hat Fitz & Cara, The Maes, Claire Anne Taylor and Joe Newton. We asked them to share an early piece of career advice that they've continued to follow through to this day.
It's all a short plane/train trip away.

The pair are celebrating their latest album with some shows
Fitz seems a bit lost. It feels as though he has moved into more of a supporting role vocally, which made the set feel a little one-sided. This, however, was a small gripe in what was a joyous, humorous and very entertaining night.
A more focused attempt at honing in on a narrower genre path would be very much welcome for album number three.
The husky, manly presence and style of Hat Fitz is equally matched with the soulful and intense voice and musical influences of Cara Robinson.
