Hemsworth’s Secret Songs Soundcloud is where he gets behind music he’s vibing, with new tracks usually uploaded every couple of weeks for free download. What started out as something fairly simple has grown into a thriving platform for burgeoning artists and a go-to repository for weird music nerds like us. Today, Hemsworth released his sophomore Secret Songs compilation, a collection of original, new music the Canadian producer has unearthed from the depths of his Internet / email / Twitter DMs. No idea why it’s called "secret" songs though, because Ryan Hemsworth getting behind an emerging artist is like sounding a giant air horn across the Internet. Ryan Hemsworth Gives Back Catalogue Out for Free
Ryan Hemsworth gives away a free pack of nearly everything he's ever created.. He's such a benevolent guy, that Ryan Hemsworth, he never forgets where he came from and always gives back to the fans that made him. At Christmas time last year he gave away RYANPACK Volume 1, a free download pack of 10 previously unreleased remixes of songs including Beyonce, Lorde and Chief Keef. You can still get it here. Christmas has come early this year: Ryan's just put up a career-spanning compilation for free: the mega Bit Torrent Bundle is called Hemsworth Country, an "incredible 3-D adventure in the mind of Ryan Hemsworth" that features his entire Bandcamp discography (2013's Still Awake EP, his collab album with Shady Blaze, Distorted, 2010 EPs We Deserve This and Cover Your Shame) and various mp3s. Post-CIRCO hangs with dreamboat beatmaker Ryan Hemsworth.. Earlier this year when we dropped the first ever Pilerats Rat Pack Compilation (listen HERE and expect the next one soon!) and somehow we managed to score an exclusive track from the one and only Ryan Hemsworth (I say somehow but our Record Label boss is a smooth operator). It was an early proud moment in a constantly growing pile of proud moments in the world of Pilerats Records in 2014, which became even cooler when he came over to headline CIRCO Festival around the middle of the year (wrap video HERE). In the days following we spent a little time with the quietly spoken producer, and given he's just announced details for a new album - Alone For The First Time, due November 3 via Last Gang/Secret Songs, now's the time to share that chat.
